NEWS

February 17th, 2020:
Welcome to 2020!

Another year gone and AVD Development keeps moving on. :-)

For those of you who may not have seen the presentations
at AmiWest 2019 as yet, here is an update relating to some
of my activities in 2019 and going into 2020:

In late 2019 I was asked to join the newly formed ExecSG
(AmigaOS4 Kernel) development team.

Since that time I have developed some new kernel code
for Trevor Dickinson's ExecSG team. The first of which
was publicly announced at AmiWest 2019;

A new Direct Memory Access (DMA) driver for the X5000
and A1222 machines.

I have done more work for the ExecSG team since then,
but as that may not be public yet, I will not mention
any specifics at this time.

Suffice it to say that I am doing paid ExecSG development
work and other contracts to continue funding the AVD Suite
development. Essentially buying time to work on AVD.

On the AVD Suite side work continues mainly in the area
of updates to the SDK Browser and AVD Text Editor. Many
other plans are also in the works, but it is too early
to talk about them as yet.

Be assured, the development of AVD continues and 2020
should be a good year for Amigans!

Best Regards,

Jamie Krueger
